SO very sorry for not answering before! though I still don't know what to say to you ^^;;

I personaly use Photoshop, but some people told me that using Illustrator was really great...

Im quite aware that my TsubasaRC "Sweet Slumber" was well done, but it was REALLY a hard thing to do, and I didn't exactly used the "normal" tecniques for vectoring...

Not so long ago (like 2-3 months ago) I was just like you, wondering : "how in the hell does those people manage to make such great vectors?"...So I went and read some vectoring tutorials :

Seriously, these website didn't really helped me too much, to be 100% honest ^^;; but they gave me an idea of how some people make their vector, and from here, I started thinking and trying things on my own and using, of course, stuffs I read in the tutorials.

There's also the group Vectorness in MT3 that might interess you and which members are all vector's makers : http://vectorness.minitokyo.net/
